This bar has to be one of the more sociable bars in Brooklyn; everyone from the the bar staff to the patrons, to the owners are all very friendly.   If you are a football (soccer) fan, then this is one of the few bars in the area that will show every Premiership game on their large screen TV (game schedule can be found on their website)

For such a new bar, the Black Horse Pub looks to be doing things right.  It has gained a loyal following in a very short time and with the constant tweaking, this is one bar that could help define the style of South Slope nightlife.

The look is refreshing and whilst the feel may not be for those of you who like the more “spit ‘n’ sawdust” kinda feel, the drink selection boasts 12 microbrews on tap, premium tequilas, scotches and vodkas, as well as rare European Czech Bitters which are not typical of such surroundings.
